Your relaxation experience, explained
Can I choose my treatments on the day I arrive?
To get the most from your visit, we recommend booking treatments in advance. It is therefore not possible to select treatments on arrival. All treatments, whether part of your treatment or booked as additional services, must be scheduled at the time of booking. This ensures availability and allows our team to put together a well-balanced treatment tailored to your needs.
Can I access the thalassotherapy centre if I’m not staying at Euronat?
Absolutely. The centre is open to non-residents, provided that naturist rules are observed on the premises (a robe must be worn). To ensure a smooth visit, please indicate at the time of booking that you will not be staying on site. Your name will be registered in advance, allowing easy access to Euronat. The thalassotherapy centre is accessible by car, with a car park located immediately next to the building.
Is the marine space included in my treatment, or in an à la carte treatment? Do I need an appointment to access it?
Access to the marine space is included with treatments of at least three days. You may use it before or after your treatments, in line with the centre’s opening hours. However, if no treatment is scheduled at that time, prior booking is still required. For à la carte treatments, access to the marine space is not included and must be booked separately if you wish to use it.
Are thalassotherapy treatments covered by the French health system (Sécurité sociale)?
Thalassotherapy treatments are not reimbursed by the Sécurité sociale, as they are dedicated to wellbeing, relaxation and prevention. Only thermal cures prescribed by a doctor and carried out at an approved thermal establishment are eligible for reimbursement. That said, some complementary health insurance plans may offer partial reimbursement for wellness or preventive stays, we recommend checking directly with your own provider.
Are the massages carried out by physiotherapists?
Our massages are not performed by physiotherapists and are exclusively wellbeing treatments, carried out by our specialist spa and hydrotherapy practitioners. Designed to promote relaxation, ease muscular tension, and support overall wellbeing, these treatments have no medical or therapeutic purpose.
Are there any health conditions that prevent you from using thalassotherapy?
Thalassotherapy offers many benefits, but certain health conditions require extra care. It is not recommended for guests with unstabilised heart or respiratory conditions, acute infections or inflammation, significant circulatory disorders, or severe dermatological conditions.
Pregnant guests can enjoy adapted treatments such as gentle massages, facial treatments, or relaxation sessions. However, marine treatments and jet therapies should be avoided. Please mention any pregnancy at the time of booking so that your treatment can be safely adjusted. After childbirth, thalassotherapy can support recovery with medical approval, generally from six to eight weeks post-delivery.
If you are undergoing medical treatment or have a specific health concern, we recommend seeking medical advice before your visit. In such cases, a medical certificate will be required before the treatment begins; otherwise, a medical disclaimer will be signed upon arrival.
For skin conditions such as psoriasis or eczema, most treatments remain suitable, though certain products or baths may be adapted to suit sensitive skin. Our team is always on hand to provide advice and tailor your treatment to your individual needs.
