From our naturist campsite in Gironde, you have direct access to one of the finest naturist beaches in France. Nestled in the heart of the pine forest, between dunes and ocean, the naturist beach in the Médoc offers a remarkable setting, wild, unspoilt and all your own. Stretching 1.5 km along the Atlantic coast, it provides plenty of space, freedom and tranquillity.
Swimming and Sunbathing on Fine Sand
Whether you love basking in the sun, dozing under the shade, building sandcastles with the children or diving into the waves, the naturist beaches in Gironde have something for every mood.
Two beaches have lifeguard cover seven days a week: the central beach, from mid-June to mid-September, and the south beach, from 1st July to 31st August, so you can enjoy the ocean with complete peace of mind, whether you’re on your own, with family or with friends.
And for those who can’t bear to leave their four-legged companions behind, the north beach, unguarded but fully accessible, welcomes pets too. All of it set within a natural landscape of sky, pines and ocean.
Water Sports and Activities on the Naturist Beaches in Gironde
The naturist beach in the Médoc is also a playground like no other. Activities on offer include:
- beach volleyball
- surfing or bodyboarding*
- Horse riding along the beach*
- surfcasting outside designated swimming area
Practical information and access
Nudity is compulsory on all of Euronat’s beaches.
Lifeguarded hours:
Central beach:
Last two weeks of June and first two weeks of September: 12:00 – 18:30
1st July to 31st August: 11:00 – 19:00
South beach:
1st July to 31st August: 11:00 – 19:00
North beach:
Ungarded, but accessible with pets.
