Data Controller

SAS EURONAT acts as data controller within the meaning of Article 4.7 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (the General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR), and of Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, relating to data processing, files and individual liberties.

In this capacity, SAS EURONAT determines the purposes and means of personal data processing carried out in the context of managing its activities (bookings, stays, thalasso treatments, communications, customer relations and legal obligations).

SAS EURONAT ensures that all personal data processing:

  • is carried out lawfully, fairly, and transparently,
  • is collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes,
  • and is subject to appropriate technical and organizational measures guaranteeing its security and confidentiality, in accordance with Article 24 of the GDPR.

Where certain operations involve other entities within the France 4 Naturisme network, those entities may act as joint controllers or recipients of data, strictly within the scope defined by the stated purposes and in accordance with a clear joint controller agreement between the parties.

This privacy policy may be updated at any time to reflect changes in regulations or in the processing carried out by SAS EURONAT. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.

Your Rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU 2016/679) and the amended Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:

Purposes of Processing

Data collected by SAS EURONAT is processed exclusively to meet specified, explicit and legitimate needs. It is not subject to any further processing incompatible with those purposes.

The main purposes are as follows:

  • Management of bookings and stays: registration, confirmation, monitoring and invoicing of stays or services booked via the SecureHoliday (CTOUTVERT), Naxi (Inaxel) or Aquao (Septeo Group) platforms.
  • Customer relationship management: communication before, during, and after the stay, responses to information requests, processing of complaints or specific requests.
  • Commercial communication and loyalty building: sending newsletters, information, and offers related to SAS EURONAT or the France 4 Naturisme network, subject to your consent.
  • Administrative, accounting, and legal management: issuing invoices, maintaining accounting records, compliance with tax and tourism obligations.
  • Security of stays and access control: creation and management of secure access badges, ensuring the safety of the site and holidaymakers.
  • Service quality improvement: production of anonymized statistics and attendance analyses to better adapt our services to customer needs.

EURONAT undertakes not to use data for purposes other than those stated above.

Data Collected

SAS EURONAT collects only the data strictly necessary for managing the customer relationship, processing bookings, managing services and associated communications.

The categories of data collected are as follows:

  • Identification and contact data: last name, first name, postal address, email address, phone number(s), date of birth, nationality.
  • Data related to booking and stay: stay dates, type of accommodation or service, group composition, any preferences, booking history, and associated communications.
  • Billing and payment data: amount, method, and date of payment, information necessary for accounting and managing legal obligations.
  • Data related to security and access: customer photograph taken upon arrival, used exclusively for the creation of the secure access badge to the centre. These photographs are neither transmitted nor used for other purposes.
  • Data relating to minors is collected only from holders of parental authority, and solely for the needs of the stay: identification of participants, security management, creation of access badges, and compliance with legal obligations regarding tourist accommodation.

This data is recorded and processed using the following tools:

  • the Naxi-Gestion software, published by Inaxel, for stay management,
  • the SecureHoliday booking system, published by Ctoutvert, for online booking management and customer communication,
  • le système Aquao, édité par Septeo Group, pour la gestion des réservations et la communication liées à la Thalasso.

No sensitive data (racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health data, etc.) is collected or processed by SAS EURONAT.

Legal Basis for Processing

Data processing carried out by SAS EURONAT is based on one of the following legal bases, in accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR):

  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject: processing of bookings, stay management, invoicing, customer account management, handling of information or quote requests.
  • Consent of the data subject: subscription to the newsletter, sending of commercial communications or promotional offers, participation in surveys or marketing activities. You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from our communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or by writing to us at info@euronat.fr.
  • This withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to your unsubscribing.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation: retention of accounting documents, security and safety management within the centre, compliance with tourism, tax and health regulations.
  • Legitimate interests of SAS EURONAT: continuous improvement of service quality, fraud prevention, securing of transactions and handling of complaints, in compliance with the rights and freedoms of the data subjects concerned.
  • Transfer of certain data to the France 4 Naturisme partner network: legitimate interest of the network in ensuring the joint management of the customer base, monitoring of bookings and sending of information or offers relating to the France 4 Naturisme network, in compliance with your rights and your consent where required.

Retention Period

Personal data is retained for the period strictly necessary for the purpose of its processing, in accordance with current regulations:

  • Customer data: retained for the duration of the contractual relationship, then archived for 3 years from the end of the commercial relationship (CNIL guidelines).
  • Prospect data: retained for 3 years from the last contact initiated by the data subject.
  • Cookies and trackers: retained for a maximum of 13 months from the date of deposit on your device, in accordance with CNIL guidelines.
  • Accounting documents and supporting records: retained for a maximum legal period of 10 years, in accordance with the French Commercial Code and the General Tax Code.
  • Data related to legal or contentious obligations: retained for the period necessary to comply with those obligations or for the applicable statutory limitation period.

Recipients

The data collected in the context of booking, information requests, or customer relations is intended for:

  1. SAS EURONAT and its internal departments (reception, reservations, accounting, marketing, technical) for the processing of your file, the management of your stay and customer relationship follow-up.
  2. Its technical subcontractors acting on behalf of SAS EURONAT within the strict framework of service execution:
    • booking and CRM solutions: CTOUTVERT (SecureHoliday),
    • management software: INAXEL (Naxi Gestion),
    • appointment solutions / thalassotherapy: Septeo Group (Aquao),
    • payment and hosting providers.
      These providers act on the instructions of SAS EURONAT and may not use the data for any other purpose.
  3. The France 4 Naturisme partner network, of which SAS EURONAT is a member, for the purposes of booking management, network customer follow-up and the sending of information or offers relating to the France 4 Naturisme network.
    You may exercise your rights with EURONAT or, where applicable, directly with France 4 Naturisme.
  4. The competent administrative or judicial authorities, where required by law.

SAS EURONAT does not sell personal data to third parties. Transmissions are made solely for the needs of the service, the management of the France 4 Naturisme network, or within a legal framework.

Transfers outside the EU

Certain tools or services used by SAS EURONAT for audience measurement or communication (such as Google Analytics) may involve the transfer of statistical data to countries located outside the European Union.

These transfers concern only a limited volume of data necessary for the provision of the service concerned. In these situations, SAS EURONAT first ensures that the providers concerned offer an adequate level of protection and that they frame these transfers in accordance with the provisions of Articles 44 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), including:

  • by the existence of an adequacy decision issued by the European Commission;
  • or, in the absence thereof, by the implementation of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission;
  • or by any other appropriate safeguard recognised by the CNIL.

SAS EURONAT ensures that these transfers are carried out in compliance with European data protection regulations.

Data Security

SAS EURONAT implements all reasonable technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data collected and processed, in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR.

These measures aim to prevent any loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized access to data.
They include, in particular:

  • securing the IT systems and networks used for booking and stay management;
  • restricting access to authorised personnel only, within the scope of their duties;
  • raising awareness among and training staff on data protection;
  • regular backup of data on secure storage media;
